Well not quite. But the important thing is that I am safe and sound at home having been serenaded by some random street performer going for the gay white jazz singer from the 50's (don't ask) look, crushed by heaving multitudes in covent garden station and - yes, there's more - having had my feet pinched and flattened etc by my boots who decided - apparently - to squish my toes to death.
What have I done so wrong to them?
My friend and I were rather dissappointed to see the limited number of books in a certain store called 'Wonders'. Just the usual 'teen witch' shite in pink, sparkly covers (no Harry Potter either, which they had last time) the 'every woman has a witch inside' and 'spells for the Urban woman - to make you gorgeous and talented and funny and smart and this one time, at band camp...' You get the picture. Last time we went, I managed to get a very interesting book about Nocturnal Witchcraft which I still read from time to time and a few nice stones (shiny things!).
Ah well, after the New Year comes along, we'll set off for Camden market and then return to Covent Garden to see if Wonders has upgraded itself. Rather disappointed at present though they had some new stones available, chakra bracelets and some gorgeous books about fairies which I have to do more research upon. I used to be obssessed with fairies, but I kinda waned.
