My pet Skeleton

Lunatique

I also found this fantastic essay about God, Evil and the problem with many Christian's outlook: The Problem of Evil. It's odd - I never really thought that the tentmaker site could be so useful. Probably due to it's name, I thought it was another of those fundamentalist sites. I was proved wrong, as you can see.

There isn't much about Igbo religion to be found on the internet if one searches with the usual keywords. I did, however, find this here which proved to be an interesting read and this one . I wonder if there are any young Igbos out there interested in our religious history. From what my mother has told me it's startlingly similar to the beliefs of the Native American Indians and Judaism.

I also found out that Chukwu, the chief (in fact, the only) God of the Igbos was/is described as an old man who never eats but smokes his pipe constantly. Now that's a God to call the Supreme Being and it's something to kickstart my artistic muse.
