Tonight I was at the Klaxons gig, advertising a couple of plays at the National Theatre, 'Chatroom' by Enda Walsh and 'Citizenship' by Mark Ravenhill, the latter of which sounds particularly intriguing, and I quote: A bittersweet comedy... following a boy's frank and messy search to discover his sexual identity. What more could you want? They're on to 2nd January, and tickets are £10, so if anyone is feeling in need of a culture shot...

Ended up with what looks like just under a hundred or so, which is pretty good considering. Less of mine got thrown away compared to the other flyerees, which is gratifying, but my god when there are like five of us giving out flyers, mostly for clubs and some such... I'm surprised I managed to give away as many as I did. I'm looking forward to the less promotion-y jobs, when they come.

But it was still fun. Met a couple of Boosh nut dykes (a summary of the various self-bestowed titles they came up with as they waited for the doors to open) and got recognised by two girls from Lady Margaret. Awesome.

And on the Mighty Boosh, can I just say that Howard so won that squint-off. I mean, he couldn't even tell how many fingers Boon was holding up! That's real squintage for you.
