It's funny how these things work. I'm currently hell bent on understanding the kinetic theory of gases properly for my practical on Thursday (yes, that might seem far off, but in Physics with Theoretical Physics world, that's practically tomorrow...) as well as getting another 'The Only Two' sorted out (did you hear that? Loyalty to a comic! Dedication! Dscipline! Haven't I grown up? - that was a rhetorical question, btw...) but then just the other day, this rather cool David Bowie wannabe popped up...
Yes, it's Captain Hamish Isaacs-Swann, the transgender science pirate!
I thought it would be pretty cool - partly to satisfy ye olde artistic urge - if someone else could write up a script/storyline or something. It relieves me of the responsibility... erm... gives me a chance to experience working as a proper comic artist... and will hopefully be less time-consuming than my actual degree (I can't believe I'm saying that). I figured that I really don't want to find myself doing more drawing/comicking than mathematics.
There's another pic of him/her on my blog, which I quite like as well. To be honest, I'm actually just showing off the fact that I can do midway decent inking now, though admittedly that may be hard to tell because of the rather dodgy scan (be kind, it had to survive pdf->bitmap->jpeg).
