I am now of the opinion that there exists and evil nemesis for everyone. It is only a matter of chance if you, upon reading this statement, find yourself saying "steady on mmoa, I don't have one! In fact, I know lots of people without nemesises..."

Part of the Physics course involves having to do a weekly evaluaion online on a site called 'Mastering Physics'. You're given five questions on dynamics, each with a varying number of parts. In general, if you've done your reading, they aren't too bad. For the past two weeks, however, I have had the misfortune to come across what we shall for now refer to as 'part-b)-syndrome', the work of the malicious Dr. part b).

Now, two weeks isn't long enough to work out which question he seems to frequent most often, but the fact that he manages to destroy my beautiful 90%+ average by a good 5-10% can surely not be coincidence. Proof, my friends, that my nemesis is at large!

I think part of the problem here is that most people are too afraid to admit to a nemesis. They think if they talk about them, people will think they're just being a self-obssessed paranoid who can't take the fact that maybe there's something wrong with them instead.

Friends, that is a falsehood!

If we all come together, name the nemesises for what they are, we can defeat them, of that much, I am sure. They are simply taking advantage of our good natures in that we feel hesitant to label them the depraved beings that they are for fear of appearing somewhat OTT.

Name the nemesis! Defeat the nemesis!

...

Yes, you can tell I'm avoiding the homework on random processes, can't you?
