Oh, finally, Internet! I hope it lasts...

So how was everyone's Christmas? I went to sleep. A lot. So I was understandably shaken when all these weirdo's started sending me season's greetings text messages. I was even more shaken, two days later, to realise they weren't actually members of the Illuminati, but people from Uni. My mobile phone, it seems, is a whore. I don't how it managed to get all these people inside it's tiny mind.

Ah, kidding. TBH, I was more like "I have friends!... who I shall ignore for now whilst I go back to sleep."

My sisters took me out to see Twilight last week which was pretty enjoyable. I actually had no idea that it was possible to make films based on best-selling novels that actually work as films (LOTR seemed a bit of a one-off). Harry Potter, please take note... I could go all snarky about certain bits, but I think we all know how ridiculous it is, so I needn't (wait: tacky sparkly vampyres!... ok, I'm done) bother. It was good. And I feel for Mr. Pattinson. Poor thing probably thought the 30 year old fangirls was bad enough when he was Cedric Diggory. Now he's got to deal with horny eight year olds too. *pats*

I'd forgotten just how boring revision is: Physics seemed so much more interesting at University. At the moment, my body seems to have taken it's return home as a cue for ridiculous amounts of sleep, you know, when you get so much that when you wake up, you're even more exhausted than when you got to sleep in the first place.

Meh.

As revision is being a bit troublesome, I've been doing a lot of editing (see, I *am* working! Take that guilt gremlins!). It's a bit embarrassing, really, as 90% of the time, my face is contorted into an expression of sheer horror along the lines of "Did I actually write that?" and my index fingernail permanently deformed from my frequently pressing the delete key.

It's a difficult, difficult life, sometimes...

Watched the Christmas special two nights ago as well. Maybe it's because I'm not quite awake yet, but I didn't really enjoy it that much. The first half was really good and I loved the whole 'fake-Doctor' thing, but then the cybermen had to get their asses kicked as usual and I suddenly felt like changing the channel.

In a desperate bid to avoid my textbooks (they don't look too happy about it, but what can they do? Papercut me to death?... wait...) I re-read the last two Harry Potter books. Book 6 has improved somewhat, but book 7 seems to have become even worse. It's all a bit depressing, really.
