...I know, I know: it's all very sudden, but I think we'll be very happy together...

Two of my aunts just got back from Nigeria and came to visit us last night - luckily enough, I was still at home - and it was fun. I'm trying to learn to speak Igbo properly for summer, and every time my mother mentions this to her friends, after a bit of teasing about my accent and 'English ears', they immediately burst into a chorus that I call 'Dressmaker'. It's basically an Igbo tongue twister like 'Peter Piper' (will post it once my mother writes it down with the correct spellings for me). Anyway, the thing is that everyone knows this rhyme, and it amused me to be there hearing my father racing through it with my aunts as if he was a five year old rather than the 65+ year old that he actually is. It's quite nice when everyone has something to laugh about for once.

Arrived in Manchester just after noon and promptly felt extremely ill. Quite bizarre. I always considered myself a hardy sort of person, so to think I could just start feeling faint and throwing up at the drop of a hat is a bit... annoying, for want of a better word. I managed to make it for the physics/maths workshop and now I feel much better. The magic of mathematics... and paracaetamol.

I found Knights of the Shroud, a webcomic I started reading in secondary school, left by the wayside and have since rediscovered. Checked out some of the links, wondering what new delights I might find, only to discover Well of Souls, a webcomic I long thought to have been abandoned/finished. Again, one of the first webcomics I started to read, and as such very influential on the comics I started drawing.

I do love the internet!
