'In the wake of this sudden deluge of gay marriages that the media is cramming down our throats, making it appear that this is morally proper and acceptable, I cannot sit idly by any further. I say deluge because it is like a heavy rain pouring on the sanctity of the true covenant wedding vows. It has taken me a long time to find the person I recently married and a lot has happened to me along the way, but I never once thought that becoming gay would cure my problems.
We have become a nation that tolerates. We have tolerated taking the Bible out of school and now we wonder why the education system is in a spiral downward. We have tolerated the women’s movement and now we wonder why the men are taking a back seat to many of their rightful roles in the community. We have tolerated the Commandments taken out of the courtrooms though the Commandments are the BASE of our laws of today. (What happens when you take a foundation out from under a house?) We tolerate the MURDER of thousands of unborn babies by option of abortion as a means of birth control due to a night out-on-the-town of fun. How many of those unborn would have been the next President and may have brought this nation back on it's feet? We have tolerated the influx of Hollywood’s influence on our morals and integrated them right into our everyday life and now we wonder why we are considered by other nations as vile. And now we have gone too far to turn back. Or have we??? We are not the nation that the signers of the Constitution had in mind when they wrote it. While we are marching into the courthouse for attending a gay marriage, I can just see the forefathers itching to give someone a dummy slap. Or maybe one patriot said, "Give me ignorance or give me death!"
Freedom is something that is earned, something that is gotten by offering yourself to the patriotic duty of your country. To think of all the loyal soldiers that have died to give this country over to the tolerance thinking of today, how we wasted those men’s life’s for this now. This does not mean just serving in the Armed Forces. It can mean doing something that does not insult the intelligence of decent hard-working people. It can mean doing something that does not insult the forefather’s true intent of the foundation of our formation.
It has been said that being gay is a thing you are born with. Never have I heard so much rubbish. If that were the case, it would have been included in the original document of the Constitution. Is this something that has become a more recent epidemic? I think so. It is a lazy way to justify not bothering with the difficulties of understanding the opposite sex or the risk of the fear of rejection. Stemming from the destruction of the family, whereas only one member has been raising the child showing half the equation of man/woman living. What happens if you only have half of a weight scale, can it truly weigh a balance? Selfish desires to show an "I’m the best gender to raise this child" view. Thus the children are tainted into thinking the non-involved gender is something that is no-good and so not wanting to be such, takes on the "I’ll stay in my own gender" for relation’s attitude.
I am tired of the press making an issue of all the gay weddings. We have become so anaesthetized by all the absurd, violent and sexual immorality through the news, Hollywood and other media, that we do not even think about how it affects us. And yet there has been cases in court of kids committing crimes and they saying they was influenced by seeing it on the television so they went and did it themselves. Then there are those that argue that the television is not real, only fiction, that a sound mind knows the difference………… or really?
We have raised a generation of children and have used the television as a means to babysit them without taking the time to edit what they see. So busy we are that we totally miss out on the joys of connecting with our children and helping them to grow into better humans than we are. And so many times, many families have been split apart again taking with them the balance of unity. Instead, they continue the vicious circle we have created. So much anger and resentment has been passed down, no wonder we have kids that are committing crime.
So blasé are we to the onslaught, performers do what they can to catch us off-guard and now reach to our children to corrupt them as well. We have even allowed Barbie to trade in Ken for a newer model. What is next, Barbie and Ken both become gay as well? (I have wondered of that Skipper’s intentions with Barbie?) What does it take for one to be on the news? It takes doing something wrong, something bizarre, something immoral, something violent. Normalcy takes a back seat to the abnormal. When finally a newscast shows something meaningful, it tugs at my heartstrings and makes me long for more news of that vein.
I know I am not the only one that may feel like this but perhaps the only one that feels that they must say something. I vow to make a stand here and will not just sit and sign petitions that will not be read by our politicians, many of whom are in the back pocket of our corrupted entertainers. I want to send this to our congressmen but fear that some intern, who is sympathetic to gays or even gay them self, will end up reading this and destroying it before it even reaches anyone that could give this letter a voice. How many times that must happen is a scary thought. We, the moral, upstanding of America, sit here and listen to the vain immoral that get their voice, but we are forbidden to criticize. Wouldn’t want to burst their bubble, never mind my own and most of the population's true personal view of the subject. Gays take up only 1 percent of the entire population, yet they are getting a bigger voice. In fact, I have recently viewed many poles that state very clearly that over 90% of the pole takers view marriage as being between a man and a woman solely.
Sadly the great melting pot of the 1900’s has become a sledge pot of the 2000’s. The attitudes of tolerance over intolerance in place, (liberalism) over-shadowing our once great country of today. An example: one constitution, one language but not today with all the push to adapt to a second language to cater to our border country south of us but I ask what of our northern border country, shouldn’t we also learn French too? Wouldn’t want to offend the Canadian folk by ignoring their heritage, would we?
Like I said, I am taking a stand here. I will write and mail this to all the politicians that are in office. I will send this to them until I receive a return letter penned in their own personal hand. I will let the constituents in their precinct know of their response because I am sure they would like to know where their voice is also.'
Mein Gott. I do believe it's genuine, though it's hard to tell these days: I swear they're a joke unto themselves.
