After a week in Barcelona and crummy internet connection, I can return to the safety of Livejournal. Ah, my peeps: missed, missed, missed y'all!
Although it doesn't hold a patch against my beloved Amsterdam, I really enjoyed Barcelona: the architecture is amazing and I could spend the rest of my life reading about the place's history. It's just fantastic - I don't think I've ever been to a city which is so proud of it's heritage in a genuine way (unlike us Londoners who insist on insulting our dear capital with tears of reminiscence in our eyes).
Back to reality, however, and I have two courseworks to complete and polish, a collection of poetry to neaten up and a bunch of pills I have to take to save me from going loopy.
I'm joking about the latter of course.
...
A-nyway, it seems that I'm not the only one going on a somewhat bizarre ride at the mo (the cheery tone of this post is a bit of a facade, but I am glad to be able to post again without any difficulty - I'm that sad). What can I say? 'Tis the season to be f*cking miserable, it seems - and the weather's not helping either.
Going to Oxford on Saturday. French whore outfit is a-coming out of the closet.
And will this vote get itself over with? We're getting more coverage of the American politics than we are of - wait for it - our politics here in Britain, which, knowing our press, is saying something.
Bleargh. Politics.
