I have a small query about Snape's role in the war against Voldemort.
We know that he is indeed spying for Dumbledore but what does this entail? In the Ministry building, why wasn't he amongst those accompanying Voldemort? I guess I can sort of answer this by saying Voldemort only chose a few select... and mentally disturbed fanatics are easier to order about than an apparently more balanced and logical minded follower... but I still want to know what Snape being a spy actually means. It could simply mean that he snoops around in the meeting places, listening to what the DEs have to say to Voldemort, or is it, well, not so passive, where he is actively deceiving Voldemort...?
And another question: what about Sirius? Was he an actual auror or just another memeber of the Order of the Phoenix?
