Sometimes, I am indebted to my brother for his bratty behaviour (I'll admit he's clever - he's managed to get us on yet another broadband provider, orange. However, in that perfect and immutable logic unique to his mind, he has decided that because he's the one who got it in the first place, only he can go onto the internet. As it stands, the modem is somewhere in his room and I am most vexed...). Nothing like anger to make one spend large amounts of money on all those 'little' things you've been putting off...

The corset'll have to come next week. As it is, I finally purchased the three in one printer and next week I'll get the airport xtreme which is rather expensive, but not as expensive as the software... Ach. Too much (twice as much as my laptop cost orginally, interestingly enough. Hmmm...). I also bumped into R. Coltrane at the Apple store, with his daughter. What can I say? I got pretty excited because I'm sad like that (and admittedly, it's not quite as exciting as Maud's meeting Mr Malfoy at work...)

Finally found the rokit vintage shop in Covent Garden, not to mention half a gajillion bookshops filled with all the comics/hardback artist folios that I could possibly dream of (including 'Fun Home' by Alison Bechdel which I have not found anywhere else... *hearts central London).

My lunch with Maja is going to be postponed as I haven't got in touch with her over the past week and a half thanks to aforementioned male sibling. Bad news: she's been burgled. A shock, to say the very very least, and everything has gone rather topsy turvy.

Managed to sketch, draw and ink in a mircaulous three comics in just over an hour, yesterday. Unfortunately, without internet access, you won't get to see them for a while. Suffice to say, I just need to get polish the rest off and the collection will be ready to be ... published? Hopefully.



Try not to get in contact with me, either, as it'll be a while before brother-dear will leave the modem in the open for the rest of us to use it, so I will not be able to get back to you (unless I find a cheap enough Internet cafe... like this one...)

The expedition to HP and tOotP is also off for above mentioned reason. Bit of a shame, but if you guys are still interested, if you have my mobile/home phone number, just give me a call and tell me what times you can make.
