By a some sort of a miracle, I got to see 'Cinderella' at The Old Vic on Saturday night. Of course, it was brilliant, though some of the blue jokes were such a deep navy, I wondered how on earth Fry had expected to get away with them... or if he even wanted to at all.
I also got to meet Guy Henry (V for Vendetta, ROME) who happened to be going to see the play as well. 'Met' is perhaps overstating it, but he smiled politely at me, and chuckled when he passed me again (I don't what it is about the Old Vic, but people are continuously going in, going round, then coming out through the other side in a strange sort of ritualised dance). Even earlier in the day, and somewhat more personal, I bumped into Georgia at the Southbank with her Oxonian chums (now I finally have an excuse to use that most awesome of adjectives, I feel a little sad...).
So yes, my week end was pretty good.
