Cool link for up and coming 'events' - can't believe Sectus got canceled, though. I mean, I could actually go to it!
There are some things one just has to resign oneself with. For me, this is the fact that no matter how many schoolboy blazers or club ties I wear, no matter how nabbity my oxford shoes get, or how wide my stride is, or how I sit; no matter how many socks I stuff down my knickers... I just can't get it.
Let me say it straight: Guys don't feel no cold.
'Tis true! Don't tell me about extra fat layers - that don't mean nothin'! My whole 'slightly repressed male homosexual from the 20s' shtick is just ruined by the mere drop of the barometer. It is instinctive to wrap myself up before I take so much as a sniff of fresh air. Guys just don't seem to do that.
No, seriously - look at them. They just don't. Even their 'coats' are basically glorified jackets and it's not as if they're wearing cardigans under them. It's like the one, true innate difference between the sexes that the evolutionary psychologists haven;t quite figured out for some reason.
*gazes in wonder*. I'm sure they do feel the cold (I mean, they're human as well, right? lol) they just don't... do anything about it.
And that my friends, is why I will always feel like a girl. A very very big girl.
Might seem a bit strange (unless you're
glowering, ready to metaquote) in light of my last post. Speaking of, thank you for your responses: you have (briefly) averted a spell of insanity (I decided not to reply to 'em, because it would spoil the effect, not because I'm lazy. No really, no sarcasm!). Now all that's left is to see how my opponent replies. Because internetz fiends are so much fun!

I have asked a guy this question, a friend, and here i quote him : " Its just to be noticed by girls most of the time. Wearing trendy jackets make us feel good, and this attracts girls. Its worth sacrificing our warm clothes to look good"
And I thought guys didnt care much about how they dressed(well most guys dont, at some point in their lives) But I guess they do.
So they do lie about not feeling cold after all.
Also it is worth while asking another guy the same question, maybe he has a different view point.

See below. It seems they really are magic after all. Maybe your friend was trying to make you feel better (and you can tell who's had a mostly all-girl schooling as she's still having trouble coming to terms with the fact that all men are not, in fact, the same...)

I asked him: "Tell me, why do guys never seem to feel cold, even when it's freezing, and girls are always wrapped up warm with their scarves, coats, sweaters etc?"
Reply: "Ahhhh, good question..." Followed by the quote above. And I suppose it's not only you who seems to be trying to understand this. I have too. It has been quite a mystery really.
And thanks you for this question, I wanted to get it answered anyway!
It would help if more men put forward the reason.
