You know, if someone from the Telegraph could write this...
EDIT: On a completely different note, on the Nigerian News channel, I heard there are plans for Nigeria's future space program on the table. My mother was uncharacteristically positive. "It won't get anywhere," she said, "but it might force them to solve the other basic shit [my paraphrasing] that's going on," so that's something.
There was also some interesting stuff about Cophenhagen. The African group (of which Nigeria was part of. And Egypt, which intrigued me. I was surprised that Ghana wasn't mentioned, however) seemed the happiest with their outcome but to be fair, none of them had to argue with China and considering environmental awareness is not exactly novel, I suspect it was more of the same. Anyway, Nigeria reckons it should be able to meet it's targets. On some level, I think it might be easier to incorporate renewable energy sources on a wider scale as there still seems to be a lot of the infrastructure that needs to be worked on anyway.
