http://ahiajoku.igbonet.com/1988/ - Oh wow: so much information on one page. Has the basic theology of the Igbo people (though I think I'll stick to questioning my parents incessantly untilt hey threaten to kick me out - lol), the important divinities, a general outline of our moral code... What's even more telling is that I'm actually reading all of this, not just skimming through.
God, I'm such a dork.
http://www.biafraland.com/Igbo%20101.htm - Questions and Answers which I have to read through again. Properly. Not such a dork now, I guess...
ieremias , the last sentence (right at the bottom of the page) sounds rather familiar... I recognise a similar quote being used on the front page of your online Sanctuary - I pay too much attention to these things, I know...
Shit, my computer's smelling of burnt plastic. Au revoir mes amies...
(no subject)
And yeah, it does sound an awful lot like the Andre Malraux quote I've got on the Sanctuary. An idea I think whose time has definitely come. (Or rather, a general turn towrds the mythic in all religions, even the monotheistic ones. I have no problem with Gnostic or Heretical Christianity, or mystical Judaism like in the Zohar and certain portions of the mishna - it's just the litteralists who bug the shit out of me.)
