And precicely because of that, no matter what we do there will be those who
want it handed to them on a platter, no work required. Why do you think
Christianity is so popular? Off-the-shelf same-solution-for-everyone
answers. Just follow the rules and you are safe. No thinking, much less
hard thinking required.
Moi: ARE YOU KIDDING? No work required for Christians? In short, simple terms, we probably have a harder time than most - we have an 'all-loving', 'all-knowing' God, and yet we live in a world that is so naturally harsh, supposedly created by this all-loving God. Dude! Why the hell do you think there are over 25,000 denominations within the Christian Church (I've counted up to 3,000 so far - no, seriously!)? Same solution for everyone? Heck no! Some of the older denominations say that it's a combination of good work/deeds and faith that gets you the hot points, others (particularly the newer, more fluffy ones *ahem) insist on it merely being a case of faith.
*breathes*
Surely if Christianity were such an easy option, why has it driven some people to the point of insanity (a fair few, in fact)? Why do we get so annoyed with each other so damn easily? I mean, now really! If you're not part of a pariticular faith/religion any more, you shouldn't go around making such authoritative remarks (and oh my piufhoa, I can't spell...)

*snorts* I can talk...
