This may seemc ompletely random, but I find this ather ironic: Atomic Kitten made the soundtrack for 'The Parole Officer' which features Steve Coogan. That, to my mind, exemplifies what is meant by Brit irony.

Atomic Kitten are a very bad pop band. You would not normally associate them with a comedian whos pecialises in taking hte mickey out of people like them.
