A good quote that sums up my reactions to some teen Christians whinings:

"Don't bring free will into it. That goes out the window when you see the whole "worship me or go to hades" clause of christianity. Shit load of free will there "

You stealer...but I don't care.
I wouldn't mind you explaining your thoughts on that to me. I don't get it.

Actually, I'm not so sure if I fully agree with it anymore, but basically I dislike teenage converts to any religion because they tend to be so hysterical, though I do know a few who aren't...

I guess it's just how I hate the way younger Christians use that as their back-up. Thing is, it doesn't really explain anything. God allows free will, and then throws us into hell because we didn't do what he wanted us to do. Then what's the point of that? It's punishing someone for using what you gave them, like if I gave you a box of real nice chocolates for your birthday, I stop speaking to you because you eat them by yourself and don't give me/anyone else one?

Besides, Creation would be perfect without free-will. Look at the friggin' trees, they seem to have done just fine without it.

Yes. I understand. *leaves*

But...that's not the point...God's giving us the choice to have a life doing what we want, and dealing with the consequences, or doing it his way, and having eternal life in paradise.
Not exactly a hard choice you would've thought. Anyway, even though that's a bit of a 'duh choice' (can't think of the word), it's still a choice.

I don't understand what I just wrote, so don't worry about it. *winks*

Yes, I can see where you're coming from. My example was just given as that: an example. I don't like Modern Christianity, that's my only problem. I wouldn't mind being a brainwashed Christian, so long as it was in the 1200-1600s. In todays world it just sucks. My personal view is that I can rant all I like but as a Christian, I can only trust in God etc etc.

Doing life His way doesn't neccesarily mean being a Christian. That is all. It's like Mother Teresa said "We are all children of the same Heavenly Father, therefore, we should teach a Hindu to be a good Hindu, a Muslim to be a god Muslim...' and so on.
