Got back from Nigeria early yesterday evening and, despite having absolutely no excuse for doing so (the only time difference between Nigeria and the UK is in the order of half an hour, perhaps) I slept in until almost 2 this afternoon. I know I shouldn't have as I have a months worth of various f-lists to get through, but what can I say. I am awful. The terrible thing is, I'm rather enjoying going through the emails I've missed over the course of a month but probably only because it appeals to some twisted sense of vanity. I've also spent the entire holiday reading Peake and Conrad so I suspect this journal will be wandering over the verge of verbosity once again.
